1 cup extra virgin oil Ladi & Petra, 1 kilo all purpose flour (may need more depends on dough ),
1 1/2 cups sugar, 2/3 cups fresh orange juice, a shot of alchohol your choice (whiskey, vodka, gin),
2 teaspoons of baking soda, 1 teaspoon cinnamon,
zest and juice of one lemon. sesame and sugar mixtute for topping (if desired). METHOD: In a large bowl put the extra virgin olive oil Ladi & Petra, sugar, alchohol and spices mix to get a liquid mixture. Add lemon zest. Holding over the bowl in a cup add the baking soda to the orange and lemon juice, and add it to the mixture. Stir to melt the sugar. Gradually add the flour and knead to get a soft dough. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes. Wash the sesame lay it on a dry lint free towel. When dry put it in a small bowl and add sugar. Mix well. Put a bakind sheet on your baking tray. Take a piece of dough and give it a shape round, long etc. Roll them in the sesame and sugar mixture. Place them on your baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C for 30-35 minutes.
SOME TIPS: put one tray each time in the ove in the middle rack. On the second baking tray baking time may be less. Don't over bake them. They are soft when they come out of the oven, but they harden as time goes by.
